What these two successful launches have in common
SPill the Tea - Blog Version
I recently had the pleasure of partnering with two incredible businesses for their launch strategies—and guess what? Both sold out during their early bird and waitlist periods! 🎉
Here’s what you and I can learn from their success, and how you can apply it to your next big launch.
1. Know Your Client Like the Back of Your Hand
Both businesses had a deep understanding of their ideal clients. They knew exactly what their audience was struggling with and what they needed, which allowed us to create copy that spoke directly to them.
Part of my process is digging deeper into your ideal client’s emotions, helping them feel like you’re speaking right to them. When they see themselves in your copy, they’re more likely to keep reading and take action.
2. Build and Nurture Your Community
A waitlist or early bird offer only works if you’ve spent time building a community of people who trust you.
You’ve likely heard this before, but it’s worth repeating: your email list is gold.
Having a supportive community that shares your offer and refers others to you is a key factor in selling out your launch. Don’t skip this step.
3. Create a Complete Marketing Strategy
While a sales page and email sequence are crucial, they’re just pieces of the puzzle.
Both of these businesses had additional marketing efforts that drove traffic and built anticipation - whether it was through social media, partnerships, or other promotional tactics.
4. Repetition is Key
Both businesses weren’t shy about talking about their offers every. single. day.
If you’re worried about annoying people, don’t be. Most times it takes hearing about an offer multiple times before someone is ready to take action.
Keep sharing your message - consistency will keep you top of mind.
5. Mindset Matters
Before these launches, both business owners expressed to me: “I’m feeling a sold-out launch.”
And that belief translated into their actions and energy. I’m not a ‘woo’ person, but there’s something powerful about setting bold intentions.
When you truly believe in your offer, that energy is contagious. It shows in the way you talk about it and your audience will feel your excitement.
I’m incredibly honored to have been part of these sold-out launches, and I’d love to help you experience the same success. Launches are a huge undertaking, but you don’t have to do it all alone.
